You will find this menu when you display Lists.

Search

Searching 7F7JNSeqwAHpXR2v-embedded-image-ylj3th1i.png

In various places you can search the lists. Searching differs from filtering in that the list is changed live, i.e. you do not have to press the magnifying glass or ENTER.

If you enter a partial text in the Search, all results containing this partial text will be listed.

The fields used in the respective Full Text Search are defined in the process description.

The data in a grid can be searched with a Full Text Search. The following rules apply:

  1. Case sensitivity is ignored
  2. Spellings with umlauts also recognise texts with ae, oe, … and vice versa. The same applies to ß.
  3. During input, the result list automatically reduces to the found records.
  4. Multiple Search Terms can be entered separated by a space, so the input "DeDeNet Northeim" finds all records in which the specified search fields contain "DeDeNet" and "Northeim".
  5. A click on the magnifying glass icon positions the cursor in the input field and fully selects the previously entered text there.

Filter

Filter tlsPBxKcQq6BcmTM-embedded-image-z5dqkbgv.png

The filter icon is located in various places. Here you can filter the view as desired. The fields to be filtered must first be set as filterable via the grid menu,

Filters are not retained after leaving the page and must be activated anew each time.

The filter function is opened by the corresponding filter symbol on the right side in the Search line.

If no more than 25 different contents are available in a text column, you will receive a multiple-choice selection; otherwise, a text input with search conditions (see left).
