# Limitations on discountable items

Control the discount behaviour in the client via Basic configuration - Settings - "Limitations on discountable items", depending on the item master data.

#### Item master data Eligible for Discount "No"

The following discounts are considered when Eligible for Discount is set to "No" in the item master data.

#### Item master data Eligible for Discount "Yes"

If Eligible for Discount is set to "Yes" in the item master data, all discounts are generally considered.
